Who Can Apply: Health Care Scholars United, funded by the United Health Foundation supports 30 high-achieving students committed to pursuing a clinical professional career. The program will provide renewable merit-based scholarships of up to $5,000/year, wrap-around scholar support services, and exam/licensure prep and registration fee stipends.
- Pursuing degrees (masters, doctorate) aligned with a career in medicine, nursing, social work, or mental health
- Classifies as a first-year graduate student and has at least two years of study before their anticipated degree completion date
- Be enrolled full-time at an accredited, U.S.-based four-year institution
- Proof of an undergraduate cumulative GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Submission: To be eligible for consideration applicants must complete the online application form and submit one required essay, all requested transcripts, and one letter of recommendation by July 14, 2025.
