Who Can Apply: Quilt Endowed Scholarship Program was established by Bowie and Helen Duncan in partnership with UNCF to provide a one-time, need-based scholarship to students pursuing major in the field of Education.
1. Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
2. Major in the field of Education.
3. Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) form and have a demonstrated, unmet financial need as verified by their college or university.
4. Enroll full-time, in priority, at any UNCF member college or university, other HBCU, or an accredited, U.S. located, four-year college or university in the fall 2025.
Submission:
1. Current academic transcript.
2. One letter of recommendation.
3. Essay on personal statement of career interest
