Who Can Apply:
- The Reconceive Project believes there are many essential and non-negotiable qualities any health worker should have, especially when serving patients and populations of diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Those interested in pursuing healthcare must recognize the importance of empathy, collaboration, and a human-centered approach to healthcare work. The health field is broad and includes any profession that promotes, supports, and/or maintains health and wellness in any way – including physicians, patient care technicians, nurses, therapists, clinical social workers, public health professionals, epidemiologists, researchers, health scientists, nutritionists, and more.
- This scholarship aims to support students in postsecondary institutions and vocational programs with interests in pursuing health-related careers.
- Any high school senior who will enroll in a postsecondary institution in the 2026-2027 school year or current undergraduate student may apply for this scholarship opportunity if they’re pursuing a human health-related field and if they have volunteering or community service experience. There will be a preference for University of Rochester students for one of the awards.
