- Ron V. Howell Sr. was a beloved father who sadly passed away on March 4th, 2025 after an incredible life.
- Ron spent over thirty-five years serving his community as a union Ironworker and he was incredibly proud of his profession. The Ironworker trade is a vital part of building up America and allows workers to directly impact their communities and to find a sense of camaraderie with their fellow union members.
- This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Ron V. Howell Sr. by supporting students who share his passion for ironworking.
- Any high school senior or current trade school student who is pursuing ironwork and planning to join the Ironworkers Union may apply for this scholarship opportunity.
