Job Description:
Cement manufacturing facility in Odessa, Texas has an opening for a Process Engineer. The position will be responsible for evaluating the manufacturing processes and making recommendations for improvements to optimize performance. The position requires leading various audit teams to ensure the most effective results are produced by the group and to work with production workers, engineers, technologists, or other technicians. It will also require performing on-going research and evaluation of equipment, processes, and techniques used externally in the cement industry and in other industries for purposes of determining performance benchmarks and best practices. Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required as well as 18 months of experience and training in the cement industry, experience in rotary kiln manufacturing, knowledge of ISO 14000, NOMs, and certification in physical testing in oil well cement.
