About the INOV Research Scholarship

This Research Initiation Scholarship 2025 aims to support students beginning their journey in research and development (R&D). The selected scholar will contribute to the Liber24 project, which focuses on creating firmware and Android applications for Liber+, a groundbreaking Braille computer designed for visually impaired users.

Eligible Nationalities

Open to applicants of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must:

1. Be enrolled in a professional higher technical course (preferably TeSP in Information Systems Programming).
2. Have strong motivation for research.
3. Demonstrate relevant academic background and experience related to the project’s scope.

Scholarship Work Plan

As a Research Initiation Scholar at INOVyou will:

1. Study Android 10 functionalities and limitations relevant to the project.
2. Participate in training sessions and practical testing on the Liber24 platform.
3. Develop and test Android apps integrated into the platform.
4. Produce technical reports and supporting project documentation.
