Types of Sports Scholarships Available
There are two main scholarship categories:
1. Pre-Entry Sports Scholarships
For students applying to ATU who wish to secure sports scholarship benefits alongside their academic admission.

For current ATU students who demonstrate outstanding sporting achievements and wish to apply for scholarship support after enrolling.

Open to applicants of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria
Who Should Apply?
ATU welcomes applications from athletes across a wide spectrum of sports, including but not limited to:
- Boxing (as supported by IABA – Irish Athletic Boxing Association)
- GAA SPORTS
- Soccer
- Basketball
- Athletics
- Swimming
- Rugby
- Martial Arts and Combat Sports
Both emerging talents and elite-level performers are encouraged to apply.
