I almost gave up.
Back when I was still doing recruiting full-time, I hit a streak where nothing closed for weeks.
I’d prepped candidates to the teeth.
I’d managed client expectations.
Still — crickets.
No callbacks. No feedback. Deals fell apart at the one-yard line.
I remember looking at my desk late one night and thinking,
“Maybe this is it. Maybe I’m done.”
But I didn’t stop. I adjusted.

I stopped trying to play a perfect game and just played the damn game.
A few days later, I closed a big search. Then another. Then another.
Momentum came back — because I never really lost it. I just got tired of not seeing results.

It sucks…until it doesn’t.
You’ll go through silence. Rejection. Confusion.
