What Would Happen to Someone Who Fudged Something in Their Background?
One reason your job search may be going nowhere is your social media presence. I want to be clear: I’m not telling you to be a star on social media, but you can’t be boring or ordinary or have your profiles look like everyone else’s.
AI can help you a lot. Give it what you currently have and ask it to spruce it up.
In addition, another thing people do wrong with social is they’re too opinionated about things that have nothing to do with work. Remember, so many people have the opposite opinion of you, and, as a result, you’re offending them with your strong opinions about one side versus the other.
No matter where in the world you are, half the country hates the other half of the country because of the opinions that they have about some politician. This is the time to clean it up so that in this way you’re not turning people off and causing them to never contact you for an interview, because everyone goes and looks at social media to look for confirmation that what you’re claiming is your expertise is your expertise, and then they stumble into this other stuff.
