Students can apply for college scholarships in the summer and get a head start on the competition!
Many students incorrectly assume that once school is out for the summer, they don’t need to apply for college scholarships.
I’m all for fun in the sun and lazy summer days too, but with college debt rising at an alarming rate, I also know the importance of applying for scholarships ALL YEAR ROUND.
Remember, it’s not IF students apply but HOW they apply that makes the biggest difference in scholarship winners vs. losers.

The “First Step” to Distraction-Free Driving Scholarship

Open to students who are EITHER outgoing high school seniors (graduating in 2025) OR students currently enrolled in a college, trade school, or university as of the start of the fall 2025 semester. Students need to write an essay of at least 500 words detailing their most common distracted driving habits, and to describe the concrete steps they will take to put an end to those habits.
