Job Description:
Plumbing DesignerThe ideal candidate will possess a proficiency in various Revit design software. This role involves creating detailed schematics, drafting designs, and assembling plumbing design documents to meet project specifications. The Designer will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure that all designs align with client requirements and industry standards.Responsibilities- 3 -5 + years of experience.- Proficient in using AutoCAD and Revit.- Experience includes the design, coordination, setting up and managing, of Plumbing wastewater/domestic water gas piping Systems, Water Entry Rooms, Mechanical rooms, layout of the equipment, routing of the piping and much more for Commercial, hospitality, MOB, mid-rise, educational, institutional and industrial projects.- Collaborate with MEP cross-functional teams to gather requirements and feedback throughout the design process.- Conduct thorough reviews of designs for compliance with industry standards and best practices.- Assist in the assembly of prototypes and provide technical support during testing phases.- Maintain organized documentation of all design processes, revisions, and project updates using Bluebeam.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.- Proficiency in design software including Revit , NavisWorks, and Bluebeam.- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and drafting techniques.- Ability to assemble mechanical components effectively while adhering to safety standards.- Previous experience in mechanical engineering or design roles is a plus but not mandatory.
