
Who Can Apply: The Pittsburgh Foundation provides scholarship opportunities for students to pursue their educational goals. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate, medical and professional school students who are attending community colleges, four-year universities, graduate schools, and career/technical schools.
- Be a United States citizen or permanent resident
- Be a graduating high school senior or graduate, GED holder, current undergraduate, or graduate student
- Be a resident of Allegheny County, Beaver County, Butler County, Fayette County, Green County, Washington County, Westmoreland County, or the Mon Valley region of Pittsburgh
OR
Be enrolled in or plan to enroll in Carlow University, Carnegie Mellon University, Chatham University, Duquesne University, Seton Hill University, or The University of Pittsburgh - Be enrolled in or plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college/university, or vocational-technical school in the United States
- Certification programs must be through an accredited institution and must run on a standard academic semester calendar. Certification programs must be a minimum of one semester/term in length and applicants must be enrolled at the time awards are disbursed in August
- Have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent), unless specified otherwise
- Awards are for undergraduate or graduate study only
Submission:
- A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display:
- Student name
- School name
- Grades
- Credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.
