ENTER TO WIN A $1000 SCHOLARSHIP
At CardsDirect our job is to capture a moment that resonates with our customers and present it through our greeting cards. We want your help designing our next top-selling holiday card – and are proud to offer our scholarship program. The winner of our Future Designer Scholarship will receive a $1000 scholarship to a secondary institution of their choice and will have their designs featured as products on our site.
- Open to students age 17 and older
- One entry per person
- Students must currently be enrolled full-time in college or provide proof of acceptance
- $1000 award
- NO GPA or financial need requirement
- NO essay
- Winner notified by email and must respond within 5 days
- Online entry only (Read: Vital Online Scholarship Submission Advice)
- Detailed artwork guidelines must be followed to be eligible
- Deadline: May 1
Artwork allowed: Original artwork, photographs, or computer graphics can be submitted online as a JPEG (.jpg), via email. Artwork is open to any 2-dimensional medium, including oil, acrylicpastel, watercolor, pencilmixed media, digital illustration and more.
Original artwork can be sent by taking a digital photograph or by scanning the image.
The artwork must be at least 300 dpi and a maximum file size of 5 MB.

Winning Tips: Students do NOT have to be art majors in college to apply for this art scholarship. Read the guidelines found here to make sure that all rules and submission procedures are followed exactly as requested.
There is a voting component to this scholarship, so if your artwork is selected, tell EVERYONE that you know (even me!) to vote. Students are directed to “create a unique holiday card,” and the artwork of former winners can be found on the scholarship page.
