RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Engineer (PE) to join our client’s growing team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you
will play a key part in the design and execution of diverse civil engineering projects in the private sector. You will have the opportunity
to collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers, contributing your expertise to create innovative and sustainable solutions.
Lead and oversee the design of civil engineering projects from conceptualization to completion.Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.Perform complex calculations and analyses related to site development, grading, drainage, and storm water management.Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.Collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and other engineers to achieve project objectives.Prepare project proposals and budgets.Manage project timelines and resources.Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
REQUIREMENTS
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri or within 6 months or less of taking the licensure exam.Proven experience in storm water hydraulics and hydrology design.Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.Experience working with private client projects, including development projects such as warehouses, business parks, schools,commercial and retail spaces, and residential developments.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
Familiarity with St. Louis area communities’ and MSD submittal procedures.Experience with project management and budgeting.
