Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled EN Civil/Structural Professional for one of our clients. Position: EN Civil/Structural ProfessionalLocation: Ogden, UT & Kennedy Space center, FLJob Summary:In this role, you will participate in the design, development, modification, and evaluation of civil/structural components and processes. You will assist with preparation of construction drawings, project schedules, models, calculations, material requisitions, studies, reports, presentations, and proposals. Your assistance will contribute to civil/structural designs that meet project requirements.In this role as Structural Engineer, you will support the structural design for the project. This will entail originating structural calculations, specifications, material requisitions, and technical studies or reports. Additionally, checking of design drawings and review and coordination of vendor information. Work with other Structural engineers and technical disciplines in a team environment.Major Responsibilities:Prepares civil/structural designs and construction drawings using 2-D / 3-D computer aided design (CAD), presentation graphics and civil models and codesParticipates in the design, development, modification, and evaluation of Civil/Structural components and processesPrepares or participates in preparation of construction drawings, project schedules, graphic presentations, civil drawings, steel and concrete calculations, and material requisitionsChecks manufacturers’ drawings and data for compliance with specification and design drawingsWorking knowledge and application of the AISC Steel Construction Manual, ACI 318, IBC and ASCE 7Broad knowledge of the application of Structural engineering design principles.Previous experience using structural analysis software such as GTSTRUDL or STAAD.ProRegistered Professional Engineer in USA (Civil or Structural Engineering)Experience executing engineering and design with Tekla softwareDesign experience with Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design GuideIntermediate knowledge of developing CSI Masterformat specifications, or SpecsIntactAbout Arthur Grand Technologies:Arthur Grand Technologies is a leading provider of staffing and technology consulting services.
