Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Construction Superintendent position include:- Strong commercial construction and renovation experience with aspirations for ground-up project management- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications using construction software- Experience with preconstruction planning, scheduling jobs, and permit navigation- Create and manage 3-week look-ahead schedules and lead on-site subcontractor meetings- Oversee subcontractor performance, materials procurement, and quality control- Coordinate with permit inspectors and maintain site safety standards- Assist with business development efforts and client interaction- Monitor and manage project costs and support the owner with tracking job costingSalary: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance, flexible vacation policy with 15 days off, paid holidays, and per-project bonuses. Vehicle allowance may be provided depending on candidate’s vehicle availability.
