Job Description:
Looking for an exciting opportunity to lead solar construction projects without needing prior solar experience? A fast-growing renewable energy firm with active projects in Pineville, Owatonna, and Northfield, Minnesota is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day operations across all three project sites. You’ll be joining a company committed to clean energy and innovation while taking on a leadership role that ensures quality, safety, and smooth operations—without getting your hands dirty in the installs (they’ve already got teams for that!). Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Superintendent position include:- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction management or as a superintendent on commercial or industrial construction projects; solar experience is a plus- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes- Proficient in project management software, able to interpret blueprints, and highly organized- Coordinate scheduling, track progress of project milestones, and resolve potential conflicts to maintain timelines- Lead on-site communication with subcontractors, crew, inspectors, and local stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution- Maintain site documentation, safety orientation, equipment management, and overall organization of materials and logistics- Oversee QA/QC inspections, enforce safety compliance, and ensure adherence to all project specifications and permit requirementsSalary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
