Job Description:
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking an experienced and motivated Transportation Engineer to lead quality assurance and verification efforts on complex construction projects. This position will support WSDOT’s mission to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation options by supervising a team of engineers and technicians on both design-build and design-bid-build construction projects. The successful candidate will apply advanced engineering principles to monitor project performance, ensure contract compliance, and resolve construction challenges, while also providing leadership, mentorship, and coordination with contractors, consultants, local agencies, and the public.
