Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Superintendent position include:- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience overseeing mechanical system installations in large-scale construction projects- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or 10+ years of hands-on mechanical experience- Supervise installation of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems according to specs and codes- Coordinate with Project Managers and other Superintendents to integrate mechanical systems into full project scope- Monitor subcontractors and enforce quality standards, safety protocols, and scheduling requirements- Review mechanical and shop drawings; provide adjustments and technical oversight- Manage materials, inventory, and ensure timely delivery of components- Maintain daily/weekly reports, document delays and change orders- Lead quality control efforts and ensure final system compliance and inspectionsSalary: $70,000 – $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 15 days of vacation, 16 paid holidays (including a floating holiday), $3,000/month per diem with paid trips home every 3 weeks, $500 monthly truck allowance, $100 monthly cell phone allowance, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage with a large portion paid for both individual and family plans.
